Boss won’t give you the time off work or can’t afford the airfare to Germany? Fear not, Celebrate Oktoberfest down under. Returning for its seventh year ‘Oktoberfest in the Gardens’ is coming to Perth. On Saturday the 7th of October, Langley Park in Perth’s CBD will play host to Australia’s biggest Oktoberfest celebration.
‘Oktoberfest in the Gardens’ brings the atmosphere of the Bavarian Festival to you! They showcase all things Bavarian, with a range of authentic food stalls and imported German beers, this festival brings Munich to Perth.
Along with the buzzing environment of a fully bursting festival comes those dreaded entry lines. We know what you’re thinking, No one wants to line up for entry and then transfer straight into the line for the bar. This event has you sorted, upon entry you are greeted with a take home event Stein accompanied by a complimentary can of German beer to ease the wait and get your day started.
The festival starts from 1 pm and has celebrations taking you into the night wrapping up at around 9 pm. These events have been known to sell out, SO JUMP IN QUICK! Get in costume and prepare yourself for a day/night full of authentic food stalls, live music across multiple stages, roving entertainment, beer halls, rides, games and competitions.
