The Rocks, 2000

Perched above the beautiful old city style that is The Rocks, The Glenmore Hotel is the perfect mix of a classic pub feel and those desirable relaxed rooftop vibes.

They also boast a lavish old school charm in their cocktail bar or in the various private rooms if you feel like getting away from the crowds. The venue caters to guests coming straight off the cruise ships parked out front, to regular 9-5 workers coming in to catch up with friends after a long day at work.

Settle in to the rooftop, enjoy the view and try out a range of beautifully curated cocktails and some nibbles between friends. If you’re after something a little more lax again then come in on a Sunday afternoon, think live tunes and aperol spritz jugs. During the week they show off some spectacular deals like $13.90 steaks on Mondays, beer or house wine and a burger on Tuesday for $22 and on Sundays you can grab yourself an antipasto plate and a bottle of house red or white for $34.

You’ll never grow tired of the stunning city skyline during the golden afternoon hours or the breath taking lunch view of the opera house.
