FUNCTION ROOM

Established in the late 1800s, the Rising Sun has done a great job of merging old fashioned service with modern facilities and styling.

The fully equipped Function Room boasts its own bar and a versatile layout where furniture can be arranged to suit your needs. The L-shaped space means that you can have a cohesive party, but enjoy two distinct zones for dancing versus mingling, or nibbling versus presentations.

The house-made party food will be a hit, as will the fab service and cosy decor. Any event type is suitable in this space. You can alter the size and shape of the room to suit any event type. The Rising Sun Hotel often host trivia nights, dinners with a set menu/canapes/order off the menu, cocktail events, birthday parties, bucks/hens nights, sports dinners and many more. The room can be split into 2 sections and the size altered. One section is ideal for 50 people, the other section is ideal for 100 people. Or combined they are suitable for 150 people. There is also tables and chairs outside for up to 50 people to enjoy Melbourne’s lovely weather.

A food and beverage menu can be personally tailored to each event, or they have plenty of options available that can be discussed with the function manager.

 

BEER GARDEN

Set under the stars on the roof of the hotel, this section has its own bar with private bathrooms. There is a retractable roof, so all year round the beer garden is available and heated on the colder nights.

The capacity is 80 seated or 120 standing. Any event types are welcome up here.

All food and beverage options are available or can be tailored to suit any event type.
