The Normanby Hotel is an iconic venue located just two kilometres from Brisbane's CBD. With over 129 years of history, The Normanby Hotel has undergone recent renovations to be resurrected to her former beauty, to create new memories and good times for the local community.

The Hops Bar

This bar offers the best tasting craft beer by their feature brewing company. This premium terrace bar - surrounded by fresh greenery and over-looks the carpark is perfect for any occasion. Particularly well suited to corporate functions and events where attendees can enjoy a refreshing beverage outside, protected from the weather!

The Hounds Lounge

The Hounds Lounge is ideal for smaller, more casual gatherings. This smaller space is surrounded by historical brick walls - giving customers a grasp of the authenticity of the Normanby.

The Parlour Lounge

This spacious bar has a large capacity and can cater for up to 250 guests. The Normanby prides itself on its flexible functions which ensures that The Parlour Lounge can be utilised by all! Whether it be a 21^st birthday, engagement party, a wedding, a large workshop event or training session! With a newly renovated bar and a private balcony - overlooking the beer garden & BIG screen. Parlour Lounge has the option of personalising the music choice for your event.

The Burton Room

This room is named after the Burton family who erected the first Normanby Hotel back in 1872. The decorative bricks and Tudor style timber detailing reminds you just how historical this late 19^th century building really is. This room is ideal for smaller gatherings and a combination of the old with the new makes it a superb venue for any function or event to be held.

The Nicholson Room

John Beauchamp Nicholson was the architect responsible for designing the Normanby Hotel (the second time) and this room explains why this hotel is a heritage listed one. The upper floor remains substantially intact from when first built and this recently refurbished room offers a cosy, lively atmosphere suited to all. The balcony space provides the choice of socialising inside or out and ensures to provide a function you won’t forget.

The Valentine Room

The Valentine Room is named after William Valentine who was the leaseholder of the Normanby Hotel. Customers have the luxury of the choice of own music in this room which is extremely spacious and thus, can be a host for any occasion. The large private balcony in this room overlooks the city provides picturesque quality views over Brisbane which is sure to impress.
