The Smug Fig Kitchen Social is a unique and fully licensed venue including a large indoor area, an open al fresco area, as well as a small courtyard. Whether it's for a birthday, engagement party or special occasion, our events team would love to work with you, and make your next event something special!

Enjoy your own private bar and unique space in our fully air conditioned inside area, which includes banquette seating beneath our beautiful 12-metre-long mural. On the opposite wall we have our hanging chandelier and gallery wall with an assortment of interesting prints and paintings. The rooms colour scheme of sage green and Spanish cream compliments the eye-catching terracotta piping, splayed across our high ceilings. Polished concrete flooring is throughout the venue.

The space also includes a wall mounted 85" TV that can be used for presentations or celebration productions, with close access to bathrooms, and large communal tables as well as high bar seating.

The front area has a great alfresco atmosphere, split in two with access to the laneway via bifold doors into a private courtyard. Our large 6 metre long bi-fold window faces Cleveland Street with bench seating, with the internal wall decorated with a beautiful fig logo neon - perfect for photos. The high ceiling is covered with our terracotta piping, with the Spanish cream and sage green colours continuing from the inside room. This area still has close access to the bar. The outside space is very flexible with no fixtures, so it can be altered to suit whatever purpose is needed. Perfect for an intimate gathering with family or friends, a networking session or any celebration, your guests will love the openness of this space.
