Fortitude Valley, 4006

The Tivoli has been housing Brisbane’s events for decades and cater for celebrations and functions of every sort and size. The Tivoli will transform your event and set the mood for something special. Built in 1917, the stunning art deco features resemble the underground speakeasies of New York or Paris, situated right in the heart of Brisbane’s Fortitude Valley. The Tivoli is partnered with multi award winning Dalton Hospitality who have carefully crafted a number of food and beverage packages to suit a range of event styles, budgets and tastes. Across multiple spaces the iconic, opulent, grand yet intimate venue can cater for every function format and size.

There are 5 distinct areas available for hire:

Centre Stage (The Main Auditorium)


Suited for large-scale music events, ceremonies, exhibitions, product launches, parties and banquets, this space can be closed off from the main bar for privacy or left open to enjoy the open space.

Foyer Bar


This venue is located at the main bar of the venue, it is suitable for private parties, wedding receptions, pre event cocktail parties. It holds up to 150-200 pax and can be closed off from the rest of the venue creating an intimate atmosphere.

Sidecar Bar


This venue is located on the second level of the venue and is suitable for smaller private parties.

The Gallery


This venue is suitable for private standing parties and is located down at the lower bar that holds a gallery of signed posters from some of the world’s finest musicians and acts that have played on The Tivoli stage. This venue also backs onto our side deck and opens up to our mural filled Tiv Alley and carpark.

The Tiv Alley


Looking for a venue that can also host parties outdoors? This venue is popular for special events that love incorporating outdoor spaces, large conferences needing an open air space for guests to eat lunch. The Tiv Alley has been painted by some of Brisbane’s leading street artists and has hosted events for Dead of Winter and Yonder Festival, You Foodz and TedX.
