Seamstress has a dedicated function space called ‘The Sweatshop Basement Bar & Yard’. With a totally unique feel to the rest of the establishment, Sweatshop is located in the basement of the venue with an urban and industrial chic vibe. This basement bar allows total privacy and can accommodate seated diners of 20 guests to stand up cocktail parties of 120 guests.

Sweatshop is suitable for any daytime function or evening event from corporate EOFY events and Christmas parties to networking events and product launches, also hosting milestone birthdays, engagement parties and all kinds of celebrations.

It also has a beautiful adjoining courtyard looking out onto the lane ways of the Chinese museum. With the restaurant and cocktail bar available for exclusive hire as well as the entire venue, Seamstress itself is also available for exclusive hire as are both levels combined.

Seamstress’s experienced in-house events manager will help create the perfect event for you and your guests tailoring a package for your needs
