Welcome to The Tippler & Co, a hip bar/eatery and ‘in place’ with the locals, styled with what they like to call a relaxing rustic-chic décor. Located only a stone’s throw from the MCG, the team behind this awesome venture have created a space built on their passion for hospitality, good food and drink! They keep things relaxed, however take great pride on warm, friendly service. Add this to an ever-changing food and drinks selection and the scene is set for a great time.

Beers On Tap

With 6 craft brews on tap The Tippler & Co like to keep things interesting whilst supporting independent breweries. From a couple of great session beers like Coburg Lager and 4 Pines Pale Ale to the more adventurous, they offer a couple of rotating taps with Moon Dog and Kaiju featuring regularly.  Not a beer fan? Don’t worry, they’ve got you covered with Napoleone Apple Cider on tap as well!  The tap beer selection keeps most people happy but should you wish to stray from the normal they always stock a few beers by the bottle as well.

Wines By The Glass

The same emphasis on wine is made and special effort is made to source memorable wines from smaller producers. You can expect to find great examples of quality wines at very reasonable prices.

Cocktails

The $10 cocktails during Tipple Time (Happy Hour) are always a huge hit. The ‘Garden of Eden’ with elderflower, gin, mint, lime and apple juice is always popular but a crowd favourite is the Espresso Martini – and why not, it’s delicious!

Tipple Time is from 4pm – 7pm Wednesday to Saturday and all day Sunday.  It also includes $9 pints of the Coburg Lager, Napoleone Apple Cider and house wines.

Food

Whether you’re after a quick snack with a cold beer or a relaxing meal with a nice bottle of wine, at the Tippler & Co they’ve got something perfect for you. The Spicy Smoked Chicken Ribs complement most beers and the thrice cooked fries – yes you read that right -  go with anything!  If you fancy something more substantial the Pan-Fried Gnocchi or Slow Braised Lamb Shoulder could be for you.  Whatever you do make sure you save room for the Ginger and Date pudding with salted butter caramel and deep fried ice cream…it really is the bomb!
