The Dreamer Examines His Pillow

by John Patrick Shanley

Presented by Doppelganger Theatre Company

The writer of the cult classic "Moonstruck" and "Doubt". Set in the Bronx. A play about passion, betrayal and redemption. A visceral "from the gut" piece by one of today's most gifted playwrights.

Tommy a would-be-artist drinks himself into oblivion whilst trying to get a grapple on the devil he is convinced resides within. When he is confronted by Donna his ex-lover and sister to Mona, a 16 year old girl who is caught up in the orbit of something much bigger than herself.

Shanley explores the human psyche with a sense of poetry, depth, sex, and gut wrenching pain that is hauntingly truthful.

Be prepared to witness a production that provokes the truths of what it is to be human.
