The Roundhouse is Sydney’s roundest live music venue and the centre of all the action for activities outside the classroom. It’s safe to say we throw banging uni parties, but even if you’re not a student, you can come along and get in on the action. The bar hosts free weekly activities like bingo and giant games and we’ll happily celebrate any day of significance so you’re sure to find a drinks special or a bar tender dressed in costume here most weeks. The Roundhouse can hold 2200 punters and host events ranging from major dance parties, comedy, theatre, conferences, private parties and sold out gigs for Aussie and international acts. We’ve had solid gigs on the books for close to 50 years from indie to metal, emo to dance, and every other genre your music wanker mate has thought of. We’ve wet our pants over sets including: INXS, Fatboy Slim, Queens of the Stone Age, Greenday, My Chemical Romance, Rise Against, Hilltop Hoods, Jezabels, Josh Pyke, Arj Barker, Will Anderson and the list goes on… You’ll find us at the UNSW Kensington Campus. Daily happy hour runs 5.00pm – 6.00pm with double happy hour on Wed & Fri from 5.00pm – 7.00pm. Tuesday – Thursdays you’ll find free live music in the beer garden. See you at the Round!!
