The Hughenden bar and lounge is not just for guests but also for the public, serving alcohol from 11am – 11pm, the bar is the perfect place to unwind.

With happy hour running every day from 5pm -7pm serving house wines and beers for $6, The Hughenden is the ideal place to have a drink after a long day at work or before you start your night. The bar is not limited to just wines, beers, and spirits but also classic cocktails like Espresso Martinis and Cosmopolitans for $16. Although they are not open for dinner, they do have an array of bar snacks for you to enjoy such as home-made spiced nuts, warm focaccia, antipasto platters and cheese boards perfect for sharing or as a meal for one.

The bar and lounge features modern design elements coupled with era's begone. The plush colourful armchairs, a leopard print carpet and the original black marble fire place, make it a unique yet comfortable experience. However, you are not limited to sitting just at the bar, with the terrace and café looking out on to Queen St you are invited to sit and watch the world go by.
